Skilled IRS Representation
THOMAS F. KELLY has over twenty five years experience in the field of taxation, consulting on a broad range of business and personal matters, formulating estate plans, administering estates and trusts, providing IRS representation for clients and litigating tax cases before the Federal Courts.
Before entering private practice to help individuals with IRS tax problems, he held various executive positions with the Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service, including the post of District Counsel for Utah and Montana. Mr. Kelly also was the principal legal advisor to the IRS Service Center at Ogden, Utah. Previously, he practiced tax law in Seattle, Washington where he was a member of the faculty of the Golden Gate University Graduate Tax Program.
A native New Jerseyan, Mr. Kelly received his B.S. from Fairfield University, his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and a Master of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. As a tax attorney in New Jersey, he is a member of the Bar in New Jersey, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. He is also a CPA. He served as a Company Commander in the United States Army. Mr. Kelly’s offices are located in Sea Girt, New Jersey.
